      Three days of fruitful discussions and networking at European Energy Communities Forum in Prague
PET’s team took part in European Energy Communities Forum in Prague, which lasted from 13 to 15 May 2024. The Forum, organized by the European federation of citizen energy cooperatives (REScoop) and the Community Energy Union (UKEN), presented a great opportunity for our representatives to learn more about latest trends regarding community energy in Europe and discuss future cooperation potentials with like-minded organizations and experts.
 
      
      PET’s directors to participate in the European Energy Communities Forum in Prague
European Energy Communities Forum, organised by the European federation of citizen energy cooperatives (REScoop) and the Community Energy Union (UKEN), will take place in Prague from 13 to 15 May 2024. PET, recognized as new initiative from Serbia, has received support to attend the Forum, and will be represented by director of operations Tanja Popovicki and program director Bojan Gajić.
 
      
      Using renewable energy must go hand in hand with responsible consumption habits
PET’s program director Mr. Bojan Gajić was one of the speakers in the discussion “Can the Sun warm the poor?”, during which he shared his experience with establishing the first solar power plant with prosumer status in Niš, Serbia, as well as his thoughts on the potential of solar panels in facilitating a just energy transition in Serbia.
